Islam in China

This long-term research project is envisioned as collaborative, interdisciplinary, and publicly informative. In its first phase, I draw on my field experience in heritage conservation across Northwestern China to document and build a photo database of Islamic artistic traditions, monuments, and sites throughout the region.
